Demonstrators (and visitors) wanted to join the crew at this public event at a historical museum. All levels welcome. Please bring any gear, a way to rope off your work area, and your own steel. If you do not have your own forge, we may be able to find some time for you at the museum or a demonstrator's forge.
A pop-up shade is highly recommended. Please come early to setup. Attempt at historical dress encouraged but not required.
Rustic camping is available for those who would like to stay overnight--behind the barns for modern setups or in the work area for historical tents.

Instructors Wanted!
Tillers International is searching for guest instructors who are passionate about sharing their skills & knowledge with curious students.
Tillers International has standardized introductory classes (Blacksmithing 1, 2, & 3) and can provide instructors with curriculum, outlines, and handouts if helpful.
Instructors are welcome to teach 1 to 12 classes per year depending on their availability & desire. Instructors will be compensated $250/day for their services (introductory classes are typically two days in length).
Additionally, Tillers International is open to smiths that would like to teach their own pop-up class, using their own curriculum and projects.
Qualifications:
Competency in fundamental blacksmithing skills: forge welding, hardening & tempering, cutting & punching, etc.
1.) 10+ fully restored Champion 147 (22” round) agricultural/rivet forges, including the 140/Eureka geared blowers. These would be perfect for a summer camp/school. $500 ea.
2.) 5+ Champion 142 forges (pan/tuyere/ducks nest/clinker breaker but no blowers) $300 ea.
3.) 3 Canedy Otto Royal Western Chief Blowers w/stand $300 ea.
4.) Approx. 20 adjustable anvil stands 13.5” x 18 & 12 x 13.5” ergonomic/OSHA “compliant” (originally designed to keep insurance and regulators happy) Commercially made and powder coated $235/$200
5.) Good working Buffalo 1950 electric drill press $200
6.) Too many parts to list (used & new cast gray iron) pans,tuyeres, tuyere grates, cross blanks, ducks nest (Champion 142/24)
